Every year our government spends millions on 11 minutes of commemoration to those who fought and died for democratic freedom, all the while demanding less freedom is in the best interest of national security. So which is it? Either we're honoring the fallen by protecting democratic freedom, or we're dismantling freedom in spite of the fallen.
